You have read it right! Meredith is home, she loves bacon and it’s Christmas so what else would I make but this:
You line a baking sheet with foil and add the 8 slices of bacon, cook for 12 to 15 minutes @ 350. Once cooked, remove and place on paper towel to cool and soak up all that fattening grease. You can get you fat content from all that chocolate you have been eating.
There are a few more than 8 slices there but you can’t NOT cook it all. Someone in your house will eat the extras unless of course they are vegetarians then you probably wouldn’t be making these, right?
Mix up the peanut butter, only 1 cup of .sugar and molasses, (see above). Don’t make my mistake and add all the sugar because not all goes IN the cookies.
Beat for a few minutes then add egg, baking soda and nutmeg. Remove and stir in the crumbled bacon and peanuts.
Roll into walnut size pieces and roll into sugar, place on pan and press with a fork.
Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. They will be crumbly but they are very good. Very interesting taste.
